So cynical Kolo. :)

We do seem to be able to plug in whatever track cyclist we can into the team over the past 8 years and win medals. Don't think it's as a result of doping though or even talent, I believe it's because of minutely detailed preparation by the team behind the riders. They always talk about 'marginal gains'. And it also helps that the track team can probably just name their price when it comes to funding, as long as they continue to deliver.

Sensing a bit of jealousy from the Irish contingent because Britain rule at sports whilst all they could muster at this Olympics was a pikey boxer throwing a hissy fit.

There are some absolutely pathetic events at the Olympics, like Judo, and that shit where they hop and try kick each other in the head. Proper shite.

However, Hockey is excellent. It's actually interesting tactically, and you could link bits to football.

I love hockey. Also like seeing the similar movements across the two sports. Not seen any of the Olympics at all this trip but Australian sounds like they've bombed.

I haven't watched a lot of the Olympics but that womens hockey final was absolutely superb.

So Bolt retires from Olympic competition with 9 golds from 10 races (race he lost was as a 17 year old in Athens).
